FNC Entertainment is an entertainment company established in 2006 under the name FNC Music by the singer and record producer Han Seong-ho. The company operates as a record label, talent agency, music production company, event management and concert production company, and music publishing house.
The acronym FNC stands for “fish and cake” a reference to the miracle of feeding the multitude. Hang Seong-ho choose this name as he is a devout Christian, and uses the name to hope for more miracles happen for the company.
FNC Entertainment was known as FNC Music until 2012 and after expanding their business field in 2012 it was renamed to FNC Entertainment. The label is home to many prominent K-pop artists such as F.T. Island, CNBLUE, AOA, N.Flying, SF9, Cherry Bullet, and InnoVator. After it broadened its business field it also managed several entertainers and actors.
