C9 Entertainment was founded in 2012 by Kim Daesoon.

The company operates as a record label, talent agency, music production and event management company. C9 produces music from the genres K-pop, R&B, Hip Hop and Rock.

Besides musicians, C9 also holds actors under contract.

In 2016 C9 Entertainment merged with GG Entertainment.
