Blockberry Creative was founded in 2016 and is located in Seoul. It is a subsidiary of Polaris Entertainment.

The girl group Loona was launched on October 2, 2016 and contracted for 18 months by Blockberry Creative. Each member of the group was introduced by a solo single until all members had been introduced in March 2018.
